The role requires expertise in building scalable applications using technologies like Next.js, Remix, React, and Node.js/Express. A key aspect of this position involves designing, architecting, and optimizing data-intensive systems, with a particular emphasis on graph-based data stores.

As a core member of our team, you will be instrumental in solving complex business problems through innovative engineering practices. You will apply your deep knowledge across the entire software development lifecycle, collaborating closely with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives. We foster a culture of experimentation, continuous improvement, and learning within a collaborative, diverse, and thought-provoking environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design and development of full-stack applications using Next.js, Remix, React, and Node.js/Express.
  • Building and maintaining scalable and robust microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Taking full ownership of feature development, from requirement analysis to production deployment.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code with comprehensive unit tests, code reviews, and documentation.
  • Collaborating effectively in an Agile/Scrum team environment with designers, product managers, and other developers.
  • Ensuring responsive and accessible UI design in partnership with the UX team.
  • Driving decisions on state management, data fetching, caching, and performance optimization in Next.js/Remix.
  • Implementing performance optimizations and architectural improvements across the full stack.
  • Mentoring junior developers and providing technical leadership.
  • Proactively identifying system issues and proposing architectural and process improvements.
  • Participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
  • Maintaining a strong focus on code quality, security, and performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development, with a strong focus on Next.js and React.
  • Solid experience with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and server-side rendering (SSR).
  • Strong understanding of frontend principles, including responsive design, accessibility, and UX best practices.
  • Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab).
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, lead by example, and own features end-to-end.
  • Prior experience with UI Graph libraries such as D3, React-flow (xyflow).
  • Exposure to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
  • Understanding of security best practices (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and performance monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry).
