Full Stack Developer

About Hyring

Hyring is building AI-powered hiring tools that help companies find, screen, and interview talent faster and more fairly. We're a product-first team in Chennai, shipping features that recruiters and candidates use every day.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to build and scale core parts of our platform. In this role, you will own features end-to-end: from database design and API development to creating the UI that people interact with daily. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and AI engineers.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship features across frontend and backend, taking ideas directly to production
• Design clean, scalable REST/GraphQL APIs and robust data models
• Develop fast, responsive interfaces with a strong focus on user experience (UX)
• Integrate AI/ML services and third-party APIs such as ATS systems, calendars, and video conferencing tools
• Write tested, maintainable code and actively participate in peer code reviews
• Monitor applications, debug issues, and continuously improve performance and reliability in production environments

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years of hands-on full stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with expertise in React or Next.js for frontend development
• Solid backend experience using Node.js (Express/NestJS) or Python frameworks like FastAPI/Django
• Demonstrated skill working with databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or MongoDB
• Experience version control systems such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
• Able to take ambiguous problems and ship working solutions quickly in an agile environment
