Full Stack Developer - Mercedes Grand Prix (Formula 1)

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with 3-7 years of experience to join our dynamic engineering team at Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix (Formula 1). You will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable web applications, working across the entire software development lifecycle. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to both user-facing interfaces and server-side logic, ensuring a seamless and high-performance user experience for our Trackside & Engineering applications. We are looking for a keen learner with strong communication skills, eager to adapt to evolving technologies within the thrilling world of Formula 1.

About the Project: This role involves developing full-stack solutions specifically for Mercedes Grand Prix (Formula 1), focusing on front-end, back-end, and UI development for critical Trackside & Engineering applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive and interactive user interfaces using modern front-end technologies like HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, and jQuery.
• Implement robust and efficient server-side logic and APIs to support front-end functionality.
• Design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs and FastAPI for various application components.
• Integrate and work with WebSockets IO for real-time communication features.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate actively in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in full-stack development.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with front-end languages and libraries: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, and jQuery.
• Proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework: Angular, React, or Node.js.
• Proven experience in API and FastAPI development.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with WebSockets IO.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
