Full-Stack Developer, Associate

About the Role

This role requires a hands-on approach to software development, with a focus on quality, resilience, and stability. You will collaborate closely with designers, analysts, users, and leads within an agile/scrum framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the User Portal for onboarding users to the Aladdin Platform.
• Contribute to the design and development of advanced features for a leading investment platform.
• Build robust front-end applications for deployment across various platforms.
• Participate actively in an agile development team, fostering collaboration and communication.
• Implement and uphold quality software engineering practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Engage in code reviews, unit testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure software quality.
• Provide level two production support to ensure system stability.
• Collaborate effectively with team members across multiple offices and time zones.

Required Skills and Experience

• A strong passion for building high-quality software and scaling technology.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on full-stack development experience using Java/Spring and Angular/TypeScript/Node.js.
• A solid understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), including data modeling, query optimization, and transaction management.
• Proven experience working within an agile/scrum team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and constructively to diverse audiences.
• The ability to translate complex business problems into effective technical solutions.
• A demonstrated track record of building strong relationships and partnerships through open dialogue and continuous delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and asynchronous communication patterns.
