About the Role

As a Frontend (Web) Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing new online banking customer processes using Angular. You will collaborate with diverse teams to design and build reusable frontend components for online banking and other Deutsche Bank applications. Your contributions will directly impact critical business flows, including security procedures, payments, and transactions.

You will serve as a hands-on expert and a primary point of contact for all frontend-related matters, providing direction, guidance, and coaching to junior UI/UX engineers, and working closely with cross-functional teams. The solutions you develop must meet stringent performance and scalability requirements, capable of handling 50,000-100,000+ parallel customer accesses, ensuring exceptional availability and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new online banking customer processes utilizing Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS.
• Build and enhance reusable frontend components for various banking applications.
• Improve and maintain critical online banking business processes, with a focus on security, payments, and transactions.
• Ensure the development of highly scalable solutions capable of reliable performance under extensive usage loads (50,000-100,000+ concurrent users).
• Participate actively in agile delivery teams, including backlog refinement, design sessions, code reviews, and sprint planning.
• Contribute to a mission-critical, customer-facing web application that significantly influences Deutsche Bank's customer experience and brand reputation.

Skills and Experience

Technical Skills

• 2-3 years of professional experience in building Single Page Applications (SPAs) with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and REST-based APIs.
• Senior-level expertise in responsive UI development using HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and Bootstrap 4+.
• Solid experience in frontend testing with Karma/Jasmine or Jest.
• Knowledge and practical application of WCAG 2.0 AA Accessibility guidelines.
• Experience with the NX mono repo toolset is a plus.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• High degree of independence, ownership, and initiative within agile environments.
