What You’ll Do

As a Frontend Software Engineer at Kestra, you will be instrumental in:

• Developing and enhancing the core platform for both Open Source and Enterprise Editions using Vue.js.
• Crafting seamless user experiences through responsive frontend development.
• Building scalable enterprise solutions that meet the evolving needs of their customers.

Kestra Technologies utilizes a diverse range of modern technologies, offering opportunities to explore and adopt new tools as the company grows. They actively embrace AI assistants and coding agents to boost productivity, speed, and idea exploration, providing access to leading AI models. However, a deep understanding of the business context, architecture, performance, security, and quality standards is paramount. Engineers are expected to master the entire development lifecycle, from problem understanding and design to implementation, testing, and delivery, critically reviewing and validating AI-generated code, with ultimate responsibility resting with the engineer.

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience in Frontend development, with proficiency in Vue.js, React, Sass, Webpack, Vite, and similar technologies.
• The ability to translate Figma designs into fully functional interfaces.
• Experience with End-to-End testing using Playwright.
• Strong expertise in testing and automation, coupled with familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• A passion for building impactful products that address real-world challenges.
• The capacity to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Contributions to or maintenance of open-source projects.
• Previous experience with the Astro framework.
• Experience with Java, enabling the development of full-fledged features across the stack.

Our Hiring Process

Kestra aims for a swift hiring process, typically 2-3 weeks, but can adapt to individual needs.

• Introductory call with the hiring manager (30 minutes).
• Technical test conducted asynchronously (2 hours).
• Team discussion with future colleagues (30 minutes).
• Final interview with a co-founder (30 minutes).
