About the Role
We are seeking a Frontend-Focused Full Stack Developer (Angular / .NET) to join our team working on a live recruitment platform serving schools, trusts, and candidates. This established product experiences real traffic, requiring stability and performance during its ongoing modernization.
You will lead the migration from legacy AngularJS to modern Angular 21 while maintaining existing functionality. The role requires strong .NET Core/ASP.NET MVC skills alongside advanced frontend expertise using standalone components, signals, Nx monorepos, and Git/CI-CD pipelines. You must be self-driven, able to manage your own work without supervision, and committed to identifying problems early.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain live AngularJS codebases while progressively translating features to modern Angular 21 using standalone components and signals for state management.
- Develop new features within an Nx monorepo, adhering to best practices like OnPush change detection.
- Contribute to backend logic with .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC experience.
- Estimate technical work based on business requirements and manage sprint tickets effectively.
- Review pull requests and ensure code quality across the migration stages.
