Senior Frontend Engineer (Remote Opportunity)

About the Role

Sonatafy Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join a dynamic customer-facing team. This role offers a fully remote opportunity available to candidates across Latin America, with a focus on supporting web application development through rapid problem-solving and cross-platform support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance web and mobile applications using Angular.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues efficiently across multiple platforms including Ionic and Capacitor.
• Collaborate with backend teams (Node.js), QA, and mobile developers to deliver features and fixes swiftly in an Agile environment.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Windsurf to accelerate learning and productivity.
• Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and testing protocols.
• Contribute to backend data handling using SQL/NoSQL databases when needed.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of application development experience in production environments.
• Strong proficiency (5+ years) with Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with SASS styling frameworks (1–2 years).
• Experience using Git for version control and working with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly on complex applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS infrastructure knowledge (EC2, S3, Lambda).
• Cross-platform mobile development experience using Ionic or Capacitor.
• Familiarity with Java for Android and Swift for iOS development.
