Frontend Engineer Intern

As a Frontend Engineer Intern, you will immerse yourself in challenging development projects alongside a collaborative team of skilled engineers dedicated to quality. You'll work in an agile development environment, completing User Stories provided by Product Managers and utilizing high-fidelity designs from our in-house Designers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on implementations with .NET team members and fellow Frontend Engineers on projects within React applications.
• Engage with QA and Application Support teams to effectively triage and resolve bugs.
• Partner with the DevOps team to automate the build, deployment, and distribution processes for Single Page Applications (SPAs) and static assets.
• Utilize Restful APIs, JSON payloads, and various payload contexts in your development work.
• Develop new Portals and Applications using React, alongside making incremental improvements to existing monolithic, server-side rendered legacy applications.
• Create comprehensive Unit tests and maintain essential documentation.

Qualifications:

• Possess 0-1 years of professional experience as an individual contributor.
• Demonstrate prior experience working within organized development teams.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of React & ES6, or have pixel-perfect proficiency in HTML/CSS/JS with a focus on UX, or ideally, a combination of both.
• Proficiency in JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, and SCSS.
• Understand Git concepts including branching, merging, pull requests, and conflict resolution (experience with Bitbucket or GitHub is a plus).
• Experience with Unit testing frameworks, such as Jest.
