Frontend Engineer Role at Open Financial Technologies, Bengaluru
We are seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. This is a permanent position focused on developing and enhancing our front-end applications using Angular.
Responsibilities
- Stay informed about the latest front-end technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Develop, maintain, and improve front-end applications utilizing Angular.
- Transform UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive, and reusable components.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers for end-to-end feature implementation.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
- Produce clean, maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Engage in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting processes.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to solution design and planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of practical experience in Angular development.
- Solid understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Proven experience in building modular, scalable, and maintainable front-end applications.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and their integration with backend services.
- Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows.
- Experience with React.js is also required.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Jest.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Familiarity with performance optimization and accessibility best practices.
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) is beneficial.
