Frontend Engineer

Bureau is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join our Fraud Prevention team in Bengaluru/Bangalore, India. You will be instrumental in developing internal tools and customer-facing platforms that provide clear, actionable insights into device and behavioral intelligence. This role involves close collaboration with product, design, and backend teams to craft intuitive user interfaces that support real-time decision-making and investigations.

Your contributions will directly impact the improvement of our device persistence accuracy, the enhancement of behavioral signal visibility, and the refinement of trust signals critical to our fraud detection systems. This position is ideal for a candidate who possesses strong technical fundamentals, a user-centric approach, and a desire for growth within a product-driven security team.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain dashboards, investigative tools, and internal UIs for analyzing device behavior and risk.
• Collaborate with backend, data science, and platform teams to visualize identity risk signals in real time.
• Translate complex fraud detection logic into efficient, secure, and usable frontend components.
• Contribute to enhancing device fingerprint persistence and behavioral signal quality by improving visibility, diagnostics, and testing tools.
• Implement best practices for frontend performance, security, and user experience.
• Actively participate in daily standups, code reviews, and engineering discussions.

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in building frontend applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and the creation of responsive UIs.
• Experience with API consumption, state management, and writing maintainable frontend code.
• A keen interest in data, user behavior, and the underlying mechanisms of fraud systems.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and frontend performance principles.

Bonus Points For

• Experience with TypeScript and modular UI architecture.
• Knowledge of WebSocket-based UIs, real-time systems, or monitoring dashboards.
• Exposure to device fingerprinting, behavioral analytics, or cybersecurity tooling.
• Previous experience working in high-velocity product teams or security-focused environments.
