Full Job Description

We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer - Frontend to join our team in Bangalore. This role is pivotal in building and enhancing user-facing applications. You will utilize your expertise in React, TypeScript/JavaScript, and modern frontend development practices to create responsive, component-driven interfaces. Experience with Tailwind CSS, Radix UI, and Storybook is highly advantageous. You will collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver accessible, high-quality, and pixel-perfect user interfaces. Key responsibilities include developing reusable components, integrating APIs, and contributing to testing strategies with Jest and Cypress. The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with meticulous attention to detail, driven to expand frontend skills and contribute to reliable, scalable products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Build responsive UIs with Tailwind CSS.
  • Contribute to accessible and reusable components using Radix UI.
  • Develop and test UI components in collaboration with the team, utilizing Storybook.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and readable code following best practices.
  • Implement pixel-perfect UIs based on design specifications in close work with designers.
  • Integrate APIs and manage data flow by collaborating with backend engineers.
  • Participate in code reviews and implement feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in testing components and user flows using tools such as Jest and Cypress.
  • Learn and apply modern frontend standards, tools, and workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues across various browsers and devices.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in frontend development.
  • Proficiency with React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Solid understanding of responsive design principles and CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
  • A keen interest in accessibility, component-driven development, and UI testing methodologies.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new tools such as Radix UI, Storybook, Jest, and Cypress.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A curious, proactive attitude and a desire to grow within a fast-paced startup environment.
