Senior Associate – React.JS Developer

Sportz Interactive is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate – React.JS Developer to join their dynamic team in Goregaon, Mumbai. This role is crucial for the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance web applications utilizing React.js and contemporary front-end technologies. You will be instrumental in creating reusable components, seamlessly integrating APIs, and optimizing application performance. A strong command of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, Tailwind, and a deep understanding of UI/UX best practices are fundamental to this position. The role demands profound technical expertise in Next.js and modern web technologies, coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively within an Agile framework and contribute to end-to-end project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate throughout the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.
• Translate system architectures and UI/UX designs into functional, efficient, and scalable web applications.
• Develop robust, reusable, and maintainable frontend components using React.js, Next.js (or Vue.js), and modern JavaScript practices.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring efficient data flow between frontend and backend systems.
• Contribute to planning, debugging, and deployment phases, with a focus on timely delivery and performance optimization.
• Engage in code reviews, maintaining high standards for quality, performance, and security.
• Implement responsive design, ensure cross-browser compatibility, and apply mobile-first development principles across all projects.
• Support R&D initiatives, staying abreast of emerging technologies and contributing to innovation discussions. Provide on-call support during significant events and critical system deployments.
• Represent Sportz Interactive in technical discussions, client meetings, and project reviews as required.

Background and Experience

• Possess 4–6 years of extensive experience in developing and maintaining complex web applications using JavaScript, React.js, Next.js, and jQuery.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in the React.js ecosystem, including Hooks, Context API, functional components, and state management (Redux/MobX/Zustand).
• Exposure to Nuxt.js, Node.js, and Vue.js is considered beneficial.
• Maintain a solid understanding of application scalability, performance tuning, and maintainability.
• Have experience working with cloud technologies (AWS preferred), Redis Cache, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Be familiar with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA.
• Exhibit a strong grasp of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and UI/UX best practices.
• Experience integrating social media APIs (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and working with XML/JSON data structures.
• Knowledge of mobile optimization and frameworks like jQuery Mobile is an advantage.
• Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and QA engineers to ensure seamless product experiences.
