Frontend Developer

Liquid Diamonds seeks a motivated Frontend Developer for its Mumbai office. This role involves close collaboration with co-founders, the lead developer, and the business development team to build scalable, user-centric products. The position offers significant learning opportunities and hands-on experience across the entire product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance features for the company's online platform.
• Collaborate with founders, engineering, and business teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Create responsive, user-friendly web interfaces based on wireframes and designs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code adhering to best practices.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
• Participate actively in Agile development processes, including planning, reviews, and refactoring.
• Contribute innovative ideas and modern development approaches to continuously improve the platform.

Technical Skills & Experience:

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with React.js.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, EmberJS, jQuery, and CoffeeScript.
• Experience with Ruby and Python is a plus.
• Strong understanding of version control systems (Git, Mercurial, or SVN).
• Experience converting wireframes into responsive, user-friendly web pages.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, refactoring, and clean coding practices.
• Working knowledge of schema-less databases (Elasticsearch, Redis).
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a mindset for innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Graduates from IIT or other Tier 1 institutes are preferred.
• Fast learner with a self-motivated attitude.
