Frontend Developer

MavenMagnet is seeking a creative Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mumbai, Maharashtra, for an extremely important role in our success.

Application Development Responsibilities:

• Develop applications using HTML, CSS, CSS3 animation, JavaScript, ECMAScript, and TypeScript.
• Utilize advanced features in React JS, MUI, D3 Library with animation, and MUI Themes.
• Understand and implement reusable components and develop custom components.
• Handle APIs and manipulate data as required.
• Leverage Node.js and external libraries for Node/React development.
• Manage and configure Linting.
• Familiarity with libraries such as Axios, Formic, Tinymce, Pptxgenjs, and Yup.
• Proficiency in API testing tools like PostMan and Insomnia.
• Experience in refactoring existing applications to meet new requirements.

Quality Assurance Duties:

• Implement unit/end-to-end testing, preferably with Jest/Detox.
• Ensure pixel-perfect matching of Figma designs with developed components.
• Conduct thorough unit testing before handing off to the QA team.

Application Deployment Requirements:

• Experience with version control systems, including Git.
• Knowledge of Jira Boards.

Basic Application Design Tool Skills:

• Experience handling Figma designs, exporting artwork, and providing feedback or comments.
• Ability to share feedback on Figma designs prior to development.

Educational and Professional Experience:

• B.Tech. in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in frontend software development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of WordPress.
• Working experience with NextJs.
• Advanced NodeJS or Python skills.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO) using AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (upper-intermediate level or higher).
• Adherence to the “said and done” principle.
• Accountability for assigned work scope.
• Proactive in suggesting new ideas and exploring alternative solutions.
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general programming skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining large-scale, complex systems.
