Full Job Description

Responsibilities:
Create intuitive, maintainable, and responsive web application user interfaces (UIs) utilizing JavaScript/CSS for the Scope Retail Systems platform.
Develop prototypes to gather user feedback, enabling iterative improvements in design choices aligned with business goals.
Instrument, maintain, and analyze tracking metrics collected at various points within applications to identify pain points and guide performance enhancements.
Build automated test solutions ensuring compatibility across all major desktop browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari) and mobile devices on iOS and Android platforms.

Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred; alternatively, relevant professional work experience is accepted.
Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience focused on creating cross-browser compatible web-based UIs using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
Strong proficiency required in Java, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JSON, REST, AJAX, XML, and HTTP protocols.
Demonstrated expertise with at least one major JavaScript framework (e.g., Angular, ReactJS), along with related technologies such as JQuery, Bootstrap, Grunt, or Bower.
Expertise in Automated UI testing frameworks including Karma, Protractor, Selenium, Jasmine, Silk Test, or similar tools is mandatory.
