Frontend Developer

Weekday AI is seeking a Frontend Developer with 3-7 years of experience to join one of their premium YC-backed clients. This role is fully remote and based in India, offering an opportunity to work on cutting-edge web technologies and immersive 3D web applications.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Core Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive 3D web applications using Three.js
• Build responsive, intuitive user interfaces with a focus on usability and performance
• Translate UI/UX designs into reusable frontend components
• Optimize rendering performance, animations, and graphics for seamless user interactions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, backend engineers) to deliver innovative solutions
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across devices
• Debug and resolve frontend issues while maintaining high code quality
• Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and industry best practices

Key Skills:

• Must-Have:
• 3+ years of experience in frontend web development
• Strong hands-on experience with Three.js for 3D web experiences
• Understanding of 3D rendering concepts, animations, lighting, and scene management
• Experience optimizing WebGL applications for performance and scalability
• Strong frontend architecture and reusable component knowledge
• Clean, well-documented, and detail-oriented coding
• Good-to-Have:
• Experience with Next.js and React.js
• Advanced JavaScript (ES6+) proficiency
• Responsive web design and performance optimization
• API integration and asynchronous programming knowledge
• Git and deployment pipeline experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 3-7 years of professional frontend experience
• Portfolio showcasing Three.js or 3D web projects (preferred)
