Frontend Developer

About the Role

As a Frontend Engineer at VectorShift, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our AI automation platform. Given the no/low-code nature of our product, we are looking for a talented individual who is not only technically proficient but also deeply passionate about crafting engaging, intuitive, and high-performance user interfaces. You will collaborate directly with the founders to bring innovative user interface concepts to life.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate directly with founders to conceptualize and implement an exceptional user interface.
• Lead frontend architecture decisions to ensure a scalable and maintainable platform.
• Drive web performance optimization initiatives.
• Champion and implement UI/UX best practices, ensuring a user-centric design approach.
• Incorporate user feedback for continuous platform iteration and refinement.
• Stay abreast of the latest frontend technologies and integrate them strategically.
• Establish foundational frontend practices to guide future team growth.

Requirements:

• Degree in a technical discipline, preferably computer science.
• Experience with React/NextJS or similar modern frontend frameworks.
• Proficiency across the entire web development lifecycle (design, development, deployment).
• Ability to seamlessly integrate with backend APIs.
• Familiarity with source control tools, such as Git.
• In-depth knowledge of responsive design principles.
• A strong understanding of user experience and UI design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude and enthusiasm for tackling challenges.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in early-stage startup environments.
• Prior experience with no/low-code platforms.
• Understanding of web performance optimization and best practices.
• Familiarity with Python FastAPI or similar backend frameworks.
