Frontend Developer

Atomicwork Inc. is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. You will play a crucial role in building and enhancing our innovative service management platform, designed to transform the digital workplace experience.

As a Frontend Developer at Atomicwork, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining complex web applications, with a strong emphasis on usability, performance, and scalability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product management, and backend engineering, to bring new features from concept to reality. We expect you to take ownership of your work, acting as a technical founder for product areas, and to solve challenging technical problems with creativity and skill.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex web applications, prioritizing usability, performance, and scalability.
• Design and implement enterprise-grade systems with a focus on high-quality code, robust testing, and efficient deployment.
• Collaborate effectively with design, product management, and backend engineering teams to launch new features.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance team performance and code quality.
• Stay current with emerging front-end development trends and technologies, proposing innovative solutions to improve user experience.
• Act with autonomy and assume co-ownership of the product, making decisions that prioritize customer needs.
• Tackle and solve complex technical challenges using creative problem-solving skills.

Qualifications We're Looking For:

• Demonstrated experience in building modern front-end applications, with the ability to manage features from conception through deployment.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with hands-on experience in React or similar modern UI frameworks (e.g., Vue, Svelte).
• A strong understanding of core front-end fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, responsive design, accessibility, browser APIs, and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs, and a knack for designing clean, reusable components and UI flows.
• Familiarity with state management tools (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil, React Query) and a solid grasp of component lifecycle, hooks, and rendering patterns.
• Experience with front-end build tools like Webpack, Vite, or similar, and familiarity with CI/CD workflows.
• A commitment to writing clean, maintainable code, and an understanding of the importance of documentation, clear communication, and design-system consistency.
• Patience and methodical skill in debugging various front-end issues, from layout bugs to performance bottlenecks.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git and modern code editors such as VS Code or Cursor.
