Frontend Developer

As a Frontend Developer at WebEngage, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing our front-end applications and components. You'll work autonomously to deliver features and fixes efficiently, collaborating closely with backend engineers and designers. Key responsibilities include creating Proofs of Concept (POCs) for scalable system design, developing reusable code and libraries for future use, and contributing to the implementation of unit testing within the project. We are looking for an experienced frontend developer with a passion for marketing technology and a strong track record in SaaS environments. Essential skills include hands-on experience with unit testing tools like Jest, building large-scale responsive web interfaces for consumers in a product engineering setting, and a deep understanding of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and REST APIs. Familiarity with XML, JSON, Web Services, front-end frameworks/libraries such as ReactJS and Redux, web standards, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and SEO is crucial. Excellent debugging and optimization skills, a good grasp of browser rendering behavior and performance, experience with JavaScript module loaders (e.g., Require.js, AMD), and front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Grunt, Gulp.js) are highly valued.
