Frontend Developer

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer specializing in Angular and API integration for a contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance frontend applications using the Angular framework.
• Translate design concepts into effective user interfaces while identifying and solving design challenges.
• Collaborate with backend developers to build and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Apply user-centered design principles to improve usability, accessibility, and overall experience.
• Optimize CSS and JavaScript implementations for smooth visual effects and peak frontend performance.
• Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests using automated test-driven development (TDD) practices.

Required Qualifications

• At least three years of professional experience as an Angular Developer with practical knowledge of established modules and best practices.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design, testing methodologies, usability standards, and accessibility considerations (a11y).
• Extensive expertise in CSS and JavaScript techniques for delivering performant visual effects.
• Proven experience writing unit tests and working with automated TDD frameworks.
• Familiarity with Lean-Agile project environments and methodologies.

Location & Work Arrangement

This is a remote contract position. While the role allows for location flexibility, candidates must be able to attend onsite at a client site nearest their residence during the first week of employment. No additional travel beyond this requirement is expected.
