Join the Future of Decentralized Communication

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Desktop Engineer (Internal) at our Bengaluru office. You will develop and maintain Keet, our flagship cross-platform P2P communications application built with React on our Pear runtime.

Role Overview:

  • Create high-performance UI/UX for desktop applications running on Windows, macOS, Linux, etc.
  • Implement features using modern JavaScript/TypeScript and state management (Redux/Zustand).
  • Optimize rendering performance, memory usage, and debugging complex frontend logic.

About the Technology:

We utilize Node.js-based peer-to-peer technology to enable direct deployment from developer machines to users, eliminating traditional server infrastructure. Experience with WebRTC (video/audio APIs) is a significant plus for building real-time communication tools like Keet.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with desktop runtimes such as Electron or Tauri.
  • Solid testing and debugging skills in production-scale environments.
