Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and fellow front-end and middle-tier engineers to design, prototype, and build technical projects across the organization.
  • Engage in hands-on development of proof-of-concepts and evaluate new technologies.
  • Stay at the forefront of technological advancements and industry trends, driving technical innovation.
  • Champion best practices and innovative techniques to enhance scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Ensure customer delight by collaborating closely with Product Managers and the Engineering team to understand product vision, new requirements, and workflows for a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Possess 2-5 years of front-end development experience.
  • Demonstrate a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with an excellent understanding of the browser DOM.
  • Be proficient in native JavaScript and at least one modern framework such as ReactJS. Knowledge of webpack and Redux is advantageous.
  • Show proven experience in designing, building, improving, and operating high-performance, scalable front-end systems.
  • Have extensive experience with client-side technologies and modern frameworks like JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
  • Demonstrate experience in building responsive UIs.
  • Be proficient with debugging and testing tools for UI troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Understand accessibility standards and 508 compliance.
  • Possess knowledge of front-end security best practices, including XSS and CSRF.
  • Have experience in building Progressive Web Apps.
  • Exhibit proficiency in modern coding and design practices such as Clean Code, SOLID principles, and TDD.
  • Understand back-end technologies and their integration with front-end systems.
  • Having some knowledge of backend/middleware development in Java or Python is a plus.
