Join Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) in Bengaluru as a Front-End Silicon Design & Integration Engineer. This role is crucial for developing and improving the quality of results (QoR) for RTL designs at both subsystem and block levels. You will be instrumental in creating and implementing synthesis strategies and scripts to analyze performance, power, and area (PPA), driving continuous optimization.

Key responsibilities include developing an ECO (Engineering Change Order) strategy, performing netlist and RTL ECOs, and ensuring design integrity through formal verification. You will also collaborate with Back-End Integration and Physical Design teams to automate RTL static design rule checks, debug violations, and support IP integration with the SoC team. Furthermore, you will contribute to the development and adoption of the FEINT design and verification infrastructure, methodology, and tools.

What We're Looking For:

• A Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least 1 year of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Proven understanding of RTL design, synthesis, and ECO principles.
• Extensive experience with Front-End (FE) design tools such as Design Compiler/Fusion Compiler, Prime Time, and Power Artist.
• Proficiency in Verilog, C/C++, and scripting languages including Tcl, Ruby, Perl, Python, and Makefiles.
• Strong skills in the Unix/Linux environment.
• Familiarity with RTL coding techniques for competitive PPA-measured QoR and clean design rule checks (LINT, CDC).
• Good understanding of gate-level circuit design and physical design concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with verification environments such as VCS/Verdi and SPICE simulation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
