Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Lead Engineer for our OTT Delivery team in Mumbai (Andheri). This hybrid role involves at least two days per week onsite. You will drive development of scalable front-end solutions, shape architecture, set engineering standards, and mentor teams within a high-performance environment delivering live sports and media content.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Excellence: Oversee all aspects of front-end projects ensuring robustness, scalability, security, accessibility, and performance. Plan development activities, review code quality, resolve blockers, drive automation adoption, and maintain architectural documentation.
• Leadership & Team Growth: Mentor engineers, support professional growth, track performance feedback, and contribute to recruitment and integration of new members.
• Strategy & Process Management: Align team efforts with project goals, collaborate on innovative solutions, groom activities with Product Owners, define acceptance criteria, and manage technical risks effectively.
• Communication: Act as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders, bridge business requirements to technical needs, present clear progress reports, and provide required on-call support.

Required Skills

• Mastery of TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), React.js fundamentals, Node.js/Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Jest testing frameworks, Git proficiency, performance optimization strategies, security/accessibility best practices, and component-based design patterns.

Valued Skills

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), basic knowledge of containerized environments for Node.js apps, understanding of Docker/Kubernetes orchestration, and experience with module bundlers.
