Front End Lead developer

Orion Innovation is seeking a Lead Front End Developer to join our team. This role offers a hybrid work model, requiring 12 days in the office per month. The position is available in Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, or Kochi.

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in providing technical leadership, including mentoring developers and guiding front-end design decisions. Responsibilities include setting and enforcing engineering standards, best practices, and quality gates for Angular codebases. You will perform and lead code reviews, ensuring the readability, performance, accessibility, and security of front-end code.

Key requirements include a good understanding of Git version control and branching strategies, utilizing GitHub and/or Azure DevOps. You should have solid experience building production-ready Angular applications, including proficiency in bundling, optimization, minification, tree-shaking, and build configuration. Strong front-end development experience with Angular and TypeScript is mandatory, focusing on building maintainable, testable, and performant UI applications. Experience implementing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for Angular applications (e.g., Jasmine/Karma, Jest, Playwright) is also essential. A solid understanding of modern front-end architecture patterns, state management, and component design is expected. You will also work closely with back-end, product, UX, and platform teams to deliver cohesive user experiences.

Nice to have:

Experience developing and deploying Angular applications in Microsoft Azure environments, including CI/CD pipelines and App Services.
