Front End Developer

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer with proven expertise in WordPress and Shopify platforms to join our dynamic team at Sugar Cubes Advertising Agency. This Full-time role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with passionate designers and backend engineers, and bring client visions to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, customize, and maintain high-performance websites using WordPress and Shopify.
• Translate UI/UX designs into functional, responsive interfaces leveraging HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS.
• Customize themes, plugins (WordPress), and Liquid templates (Shopify) tailored to specific project needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, content creators, and backend developers to ensure cohesive digital experiences.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO best practices, mobile responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Troubleshoot bugs, debug code, and continuously enhance website functionality using Git version control.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Frontend Developer with strong command over WordPress and Shopify ecosystems.
• Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, and at least one framework like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• Hands-on experience customizing themes/plugins (WordPress) and Liquid templating (Shopify).
• Familiarity with Git workflows for version control.
• Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with modern frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of Headless CMS architectures and API integrations (REST/GraphQL).
• Basic proficiency in PHP and MySQL for custom WordPress development.
