Front End Developer

vConstruct, a Pune-based construction technology innovator, is seeking a skilled Front End Developer (React) to join its 'vC Labs' team. This role involves developing critical enterprise applications within a cross-functional team responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment. The ideal candidate will contribute to building responsive, scalable web interfaces for core features such as schedule visualization, 3D model and 2D sheet interactions, 4D simulation viewers, and data-heavy dashboards. Responsibilities include translating product requirements into features, writing clean and reusable code, integrating frontend with APIs, optimizing performance for large datasets, and managing complex UI state. Collaboration with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers is essential, as is a commitment to quality through cross-browser compatibility, testing, and debugging. Key Responsibilities:

Product Development

• Build responsive, scalable web interfaces for core features:
• Schedule visualization and interaction
• 3D models and 2D sheet interactions
• 4D simulation viewer (timeline + controls)
• Data-heavy dashboards and workflows
• Translate product requirements and wireframes into features

Engineering

• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code
• Integrate frontend with APIs and backend services
• Optimize performance for large datasets and real-time interactions
• Handle state management for complex UI flows

Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers
• Participate in feature discussions, sprint planning, and reviews
• Contribute to improving UX through feedback and iteration

Quality & Performance

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Write unit and component tests
• Debug UI issues and improve performance bottlenecks

Must-Have Skills:

• Experience with React (preferred) or similar frameworks
• Good understanding of:
• HTML5, CSS3
• Responsive design
• REST API integration
• Familiarity with state management
• Experience with modern build tools

Good-to-Have:

• Experience with:
• Timeline/scheduler libraries
• Data visualization (charts, grids)
• Using AI tools for development like Claude
• Exposure to 3D/web graphics:
• Autodesk Forge Viewer / APS Viewer
• Understanding of performance optimization for large datasets
• Experience in SaaS product development
