Front End Developer

We are seeking a Front End Developer to build and maintain high-quality user interfaces for millions of users. The ideal candidate believes that good design makes a difference and takes pride in delivering pixel-perfect, bug-free experiences across various browsers and devices. Responsibilities:

• Convert design mockups into light, clean, semantic, scalable, Section 508 compliant HTML/CSS interfaces adhering to W3C standards.
• Collaborate with Team Leads and Product Managers to deliver projects within timelines using quality code.
• Optimize interfaces for performance across different browsers and devices (Google PageSpeed, YSlow).
• Develop screen interactions such as carousels, photo galleries, and form validations using JavaScript/jQuery or custom libraries.
• Familiarity with Atomic Web Design/OOCSS/BEM/SMACSS is required.
• Create cross-compatible email templates for various clients and browsers.
• Implement SEO best practices to optimize page visibility.
• Integrate frontend interfaces seamlessly with backend code (PHP or other frameworks).
• Contribute to building proprietary reusable code libraries.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience required.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, LESS/SASS, JavaScript/jQuery.
• Familiarity with UI Frameworks and Photoshop.
• Skillset using Chrome Developer Tools.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SVG/Canvas, Angular/backbone, full-stack JavaScript applications.
• Integration experience with third-party APIs (Facebook, Twitter, SoundCloud).
• Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Magento.
