Join Paper Plane as a self–driven Front End developer for our Mumbai office. You will deliver pixel perfect rich user interfaces and interactions by converting design mockups into light, clean, semantic, scalable interfaces adhering to W3C standards and Section 508 compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Convert design mockups to compliant interfaces adhering to W3C standards.
• Collaborate with Team leads and PMs to deliver pixel perfect, bug free interfaces within timelines.
• Optimize interface across various Browsers/Devices/Platforms.
• Develop screen interactions (carousel, gallery, forms) using Javascript/jQuery or custom libraries.
• Familiarity with Atomic web design principles.
• Develop Emailers for different Clients/Browsers/devices.
• Optimize pages for SEO following standard guidelines.
• Test and optimize performance using Google PageSpeed Insights and YSlow.
• Integrate pixel perfect interfaces seamlessly with backend code (PHP or other languages/frameworks).
• Contribute to proprietary reusable code libraries and frameworks.
• Maintain client websites and online products.

Requirements:

1-3 years experience required in:

• HTML5 / CSS3
• LESS / SASS
• Photoshop
• Javascript / jQuery
• Chrome Developer Tools
• UI Frameworks

Bonus points for experience in:

• SVG, Canvas
• Angular/backbone/templating systems
• Full stack Javascript applications
• Third party API integration (FB, Twitter, SoundCloud)
• Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, Magento
