Front end consultant

NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Front-End Consultant, specifically a React Developer with Test-Driven Development (TDD) expertise, for their team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role is crucial for building a new Model Management platform, a critical system used firm-wide for managing model inventory. The platform supports front-office, finance, operations, control, and oversight functions, serving as a central repository for model meta-data, documentation, and implementing model workflows in line with global risk management policies.

The project involves modernizing the existing system using a cutting-edge technology stack to support significant business growth and adapt to evolving regulatory environments, including new AI/ML/GenAI model frameworks. The new platform will manage model inventory, workflows, event management, model usage, documentation, GenAI integration, analytics, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, hands-on front-end developer proficient in ReactJS/Redux, capable of integrating with a micro-services architecture. Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Quality Assurance (QA) automation using Cypress is essential. The role requires the ability to manage changing priorities and interact effectively with product owners and business stakeholders. A strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and experience in a distributed, event-driven pub/sub environment are key. The candidate should thrive in a highly collaborative environment, demonstrating strong teamwork and communication skills.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
• 7-15 years of experience in Web UI development.
• 3+ years of experience in ReactJs/Redux.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in JavaScript ES6, ReactJs, Redux, CSS3, HTML 4&5, Bootstrap, HTTP, Cookies, nodejs, Cypress, and React Testing Library.
• Proven experience in performance tuning, code profiling, and applying design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with Cucumber, TDD, and BDD.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Git, code review processes, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
• Working knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.

Desired Skills:

• Working knowledge of Workflow engine technologies, BPMN, DMN (e.g., Camunda).
• Knowledge of MongoDB.
