Founding Engineer Lead

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Founding Engineer Lead to architect, build, and launch our flagship product from concept to market. In this pivotal role, you will define the technical vision, develop the MVP, recruit and mentor your founding engineering team, and ensure scalable delivery.

Your Responsibilities:

• Spearhead end-to-end technical development, defining roadmap, scope, and execution strategy for our new product line.
• Design robust, secure, and scalable system architectures using modern best practices tailored for high growth.
• Rapidly build and ship the MVP while maintaining code quality and managing technical debt effectively.
• Lead hiring initiatives to construct a high-performing team of 3+ engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and collaboration in Delhi.
• Establish engineering excellence through CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and standardized coding norms.
• Makes critical technology decisions regarding stack selection (MERN), infrastructure, and data models aligned with business goals.

Key Requirements:

• Experience Level: 4–7 years in full-stack development, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership or senior role.
• Tech Stack Mastery: Deep hands-on expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) and modern web technologies.
• Proven Shipper: A track record of successfully shipping production-grade products from 0 to 1 for real users.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability in hiring, mentoring small teams, and driving execution without bureaucracy.
• Innovation: An AI-First approach, actively leveraging generative tools to accelerate development cycles.
