Founding AI Engineer
Full Job Description
About the Role: Product Engineer Owner (Outcome-Based EdTech 2.0)
Entrext is dedicated to developing micro AI and macro SaaS products, specializing in AI and community integration. We foster an ownership-driven platform for futurepreneurs by partnering with equity-based foundational individuals for each product. Innovation and collaborative partnerships are the cornerstones of our growth.
Team Focus: Outcome-Based EdTech 2.0
Team 2 specializes in building 'Success Engines' – SaaS products that transform passive learning into guaranteed, high-stakes outcomes. Our solutions cater to professionals aged 35+ and parents who prioritize tangible Return on Investment (ROI) over mere content. These platforms are engineered to deliver specific results, such as successful mid-life career pivots, executive certification achievements, or improved child academic performance. Leveraging adaptive AI and meticulous milestone tracking, we eliminate wasted time and concentrate solely on addressing critical skill and performance gaps. In a market segment with significant purchasing power and zero tolerance for failure, users are willing to invest in premium, outcome-linked pricing to secure their income, careers, and family futures.
Role Purpose
As a Product Engineer Owner at Entrext, you will assume complete end-to-end responsibility for a micro-SaaS product within the Outcome-Based EdTech 2.0 category. This includes the entire product lifecycle: ideation, validation, build, launch, and growth. You will operate with speed, embrace aggressive testing, manage the product's Profit and Loss (P&L), and be rewarded with a 10% participation/stake in the product.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and refine product ideas aligned with Entrext's vision and the opportunities within the outcome-driven education market.
- Conduct rapid validation through market research, interviews with professionals (35+), parents, coaches, and credentialing bodies, and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) testing.
- Define the product roadmap, key outcome milestones, user experience (UX/UI), and success metrics.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to build MVPs swiftly (deployable within weeks, not months).
- Launch the product and meticulously track key performance indicators, including activation, milestone completion, retention, and revenue.
- Iterate on the product based on real performance data and user outcomes; be prepared to pivot when necessary.
- Own the product's P&L, including pricing models (potentially success-based or milestone-based fees), growth strategies, acquisition efforts, and churn reduction.
- Liaise with marketing, sales, and support teams to build trust and drive adoption.
- Take full accountability for your product's success, embracing both its potential gains and inherent risks.
What You Bring
- An entrepreneurial mindset; you excel in high-velocity, ambiguous environments.
- Prior experience launching SaaS or product-based businesses, including personal projects.
- Strong analytical thinking skills; you are focused on tangible outcomes rather than vanity metrics.
- Product and technical fluency; you are comfortable collaborating closely with engineering, design, and quality assurance (QA) teams.
- A willingness to wear multiple hats, from initial ideation to customer support.
- A deep sense of ownership; you treat your product as a genuine business, not just a feature.
Rewards
- 10% participation/stake in the product you lead.
- A high-visibility role within a lean, product-first company.
- The opportunity to launch and scale multiple outcome-driven micro-SaaS products.
- A flexible work environment offering genuine ownership, not just superficial titles.
