We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our growing team at Amazon in Gurgaon. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage self-directed, distributed teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrating direct people management experience.
• Utilize strong leadership and communication abilities to drive critical decisions and motivate teams towards ambitious goals.
• Apply proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools for effective planning and execution.
• Leverage technical expertise in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and software engineering, preferably within SaaS environments.
• Incorporate DevOps practices, oversee technical support functions, and manage on-call schedules.
• Foster a culture of mentorship and engineer development across various career levels.
• Leverage familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) or information retrieval techniques.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading teams.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team motivation skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Technical background in AI/ML and software engineering, SaaS experience is advantageous.
• Experience with DevOps and technical support.
• Proven mentorship and engineer development capabilities.
• NLP or information retrieval experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Machine Learning, AI, Software Engineering).
