Founding Account Executive - EMEA
Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)
Compensation: £160,000 - £220,000 OTE (50/50 split) + Equity
This is a rare opportunity to join an early-stage AI company, build an entire region from the ground up, and contribute to a business experiencing rapid scaling. As one of the first commercial hires in Europe for an AI software company specializing in AI search and content visibility, you will redefine how brands engage with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity. Our solutions are transforming SEO, content strategy, and customer acquisition.
Company Growth & Traction:
- Rapid revenue growth: ~$3M → ~$15M → nearly ~$20M ARR in a short period.
- Ambitious target: Aiming for ~$60M ARR next fiscal year.
- Team expansion: Scaled from approximately 40 to 150 employees year-over-year.
- Investor backing: Secured a significant Series B round from top-tier investors.
- European market presence: Already generating substantial revenue in Europe without a dedicated local sales team.
- US sales performance: US sales team consistently exceeds targets, with many reps achieving 150-200%+ of their quotas.
What You'll Do:
- Be a foundational Go-To-Market hire in the EMEA region.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from outbound prospecting to closing deals.
- Target and sell to Mid-Market and Enterprise clients.
- Engage with key buyers including CMOs, VPs of Marketing, and senior commercial stakeholders.
- Develop pipeline, close new business, and actively contribute to shaping the EMEA Go-To-Market strategy.
- Collaborate closely with US leadership while enjoying a high degree of autonomy.
- Play a key role in establishing the future EMEA team.
What We're Looking For:
- 3-7 years of B2B SaaS closing experience.
- A strong hunter mentality with a proven ability to self-source pipeline.
- Demonstrated track record of top performance (e.g., President's Club, consistent overachievement).
- Experience selling to senior executive stakeholders.
- Comfort and adaptability in fast-paced, early-stage, high-growth environments.
- A high sense of ownership, excellent communication skills, and a genuine builder mentality.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to AI, Martech, SEO, or data platforms.
- Previous startup or founding Account Executive experience.
- Proficiency in additional European languages.
