Forward Deployment Engineer

About This Role: Forward Deployment Engineer - Supply Chain Analytics

We are seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer to lead the deployment and operation of AXIOM, our Clinical Supply Chain Control Tower. You will build features using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Azure; manage client UAT and releases; and construct secure cloud environments with Terraform and Azure DevOps.

The Opportunity

Every day, clinical trials face delays due to drug shortages at critical sites. AXIOM changes this by providing end-to-end visibility from manufacturing through site inventory, allowing teams to act before a stockout occurs. As our Forward Deployed Engineer, you are the bridge between technology and client needs.

Your Impact

• Partner with Clients: Serve as the trusted technical lead for supply chain and IT teams from kickoff through go-live. Lead UAT deployments, manage release communications, and translate field insights into product roadmap improvements.
• Build & Ship Product: Develop web app features in Next.js/React (including AI Briefing panels and row-level security) connecting Gold-layer tables to Power BI reports.
• Infrastructure as Code: Provision client environments using Terraform, manage Entra ID/App Service resources, and build robust CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps including monitoring via Application Insights.

Who You Are

You have 5+ years of experience in supply chain analytics or technology. You understand concepts like demand forecasting, safety stock, lead times, and expiry management. Technically, you are a master on the Azure platform (App Service, Container Apps, Functions) with strong skills in TypeScript, React, SQL, and Terraform.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI embedding, or Databricks/Synapse.
• Background in pharmaceutical/biotech supply chains (IRT/RTSM, GxP environments).
• Certifications: AZ-104, AZ-400, DP-600, CPIM, CSCP.
