Forward Deployed Engineer
Full Job Description
Earth Finance is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to contribute to SpatiaFi Deploy engagements. As a full-stack engineer working directly with customers, you will collaborate with Strategic Advisors to understand problems, design solutions on our platform, and build custom applications using Go services (gRPC), React/TypeScript frontends, PostgreSQL, Docker containers, and Google Cloud/AWS/Azure.
Key responsibilities include running discovery sessions for CTOs and technical leads, explaining trade-offs in plain language, creating clear technical designs and documentation, building geospatial visualizations with map-based data, deploying to various environments (cloud or on-premise), utilizing AI coding agents while maintaining security standards, managing multiple engagements simultaneously without losing quality, and turning custom work into reusable components.
Requirements: 5+ years of full-stack experience in React/Go with Python knowledge, solid understanding of geospatial data systems, hands-on Docker/PostgreSQL skills, proven ability to communicate simply with executives/non-technical users, comfort working on multiple projects at once, practical AI coding tool usage, and willingness to travel up to 50%.
