Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Role

PartsBase Inc. is seeking a senior Forward Deployed Engineer to scope, build, and certify AI-driven integrations for corporate customers while strengthening our own platform between engagements. This client-facing role requires independent ownership of projects from discovery through sign-off.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct technical discoveries with customers to create scopes, risk assessments, and estimates covering build effort and running costs.
• Partner with Sales on solution design using Claude Code as the primary instrument for building end-to-end integrations (agents, MCP servers, connectors, webhooks).
• Certify work through parity checks against customer source of truth, automated regression testing, and evidence-based sign-off processes.
• Build reusable verification tooling including harnesses, reconciliation agents, and reporting frameworks.
• Design guardrails for agentic components like scoped credentials, approval gates, output validation, and audit logging.
• Act as the primary technical interface to navigate customer security reviews and change controls effectively.
• Convert recurring engagement patterns into product capabilities such as API features and official connectors.

Technical Requirements

We are looking for an engineer with 10+ years of experience in building production software across backend, frontend, and integration work. You must have at least 5 years operating systems you built yourself on-call. Essential skills include:

• Demonstrated production use of Claude Code including CLAUDE.md, subagents, hooks, MCP servers.
• Command of context engineering, tool use, model selection, and handling non-deterministic system failure modes.
• Deep experience in data integration verification: reconciliation strategy at scale, sampling methods, and evaluating agent-driven testing for non-deterministic behavior.
• Mastery of Test automation (Playwright, Cypress), API contract testing, CI/CD pipelines with New Relic observability, n8n automations.

Stack & Technologies

C#/.NET (.NET Framework 4.6-era plus modern versions), Python, TypeScript, React/Next.js or React Native, AWS infrastructure management, REST integrations at scale, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and fluent English communication skills.
