What You'll Do

• Partner with sales organizations by applying technical abilities to support growth objectives.
• Leverage AI tooling alongside deep implementation expertise to build foundational solutions and solve complex problems.
• Accelerate customers' time-to-value while decreasing traditional service costs.

All Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) undergo comprehensive product and sales training, paving the way for a profound understanding of SailPoint's SaaS solutions. You will discover customer requirements, align solutions to those needs, participate in onsite/remote implementations, educate customers on architecture/best practices, document technical infrastructure knowledge, collaborate with cross-functional teams including Solution Engineering and Product Management, master AI technologies, and contribute to Agentic technology solutions.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of professional work experience in enterprise software/consulting; 3+ years in implementation or pre-sales.
• Excellent communications skills for client engagement.
• Knowledge of web services, application servers, databases (SQL/NoSQL), directories (LDAP).
• Familiarity with modern SaaS architecture and agentic coding tools.

Preferred qualifications include experience in Identity/Governance solutions, knowledge of Java/SpringBoot/Angular/React, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and security certifications like CISSP or SailPoint Certified Engineer. The role involves up to 15% travel.
