Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead client onboarding for Sardine's fraud and compliance products. You will manage end-to-end integrations, translate technical requirements into scalable solutions, and ensure smooth deployments in our remote-first environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage implementation and integration efforts for advanced fraud and compliance products.
• Work closely with clients to provide comprehensive support during onboarding, setting them up for long-term success.
• Own APIs, SDK documentation, integration guides, and overall support materials.
• Analyze client requirements from both technical and functional perspectives, designing solutions using Sardine's robust technology capabilities.
• Manage implementation projects by monitoring quality, adhering to timelines, mitigating risks, and driving deliverables to completion.
• Develop a deep understanding of customers' business problems and success criteria to provide tailored solutions.
• Provide critical product feedback to internal stakeholders as our eyes and ears on the ground.

What You'll Need

• 4+ years in technical roles (e.g., Integrations Engineer, QA Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect) with strong execution skills and integration expertise.
• 2+ years of B2B SaaS experience specifically within the payment, fraud, risk, or compliance domain.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational abilities with a proven track record of managing multiple simultaneous projects.
• Experience with basic SQL querying and JSON payload analysis.
• Familiarity with API specs like OpenAPI, web development, and scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Golang, or bash for building internal tools.
