Forward Deployed Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers and internal teams in Chennai. This full-time hybrid role involves spending part of your time on-site at client locations, offering some remote flexibility for focused development tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain software solutions within real-world environments.
• Build and integrate backend services, deploy applications, monitor performance, and handle incident response.
• Troubleshoot production issues to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers, data teams, and designers to refine requirements.
• Translate complex operational workflows into robust technical architectures.
• Create documentation and best practices for deployed systems.

Qualifications:

• Fundamental knowledge in Computer Science (algorithms, data structures, system design).
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Back-End Web Development including APIs and distributed services.
• Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming principles applied to production systems.
• Experience deploying software on cloud or on-premises environments with monitoring/logging capabilities.
• Able to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders across cross-functional teams.
