About the Role

We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to collaborate directly with customers, decipher their business and technical challenges, and architect production-grade solutions that deliver measurable impact.

This pivotal role bridges engineering, product strategy, and customer delivery. You will transform ambiguous requirements into robust technical architectures, build essential systems, and deploy them seamlessly in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer deployments from initial discovery to production rollout.
• Partner closely with stakeholders to analyze workflows, constraints, and business objectives.
• Design and implement full-stack or backend-heavy solutions tailored to specific needs.
• Integrate our platform with client systems, APIs, databases, cloud services, and third-party tools.
• Rapidly prototype while ensuring final deliverables are reliable, secure, maintainable, and production-ready.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues, monitor performance metrics, and enhance system reliability post-launch.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI/ML teams to translate field insights into product enhancements.
• Develop clean, scalable code with comprehensive documentation.
• Create reusable tools, templates, playbooks, and implementation patterns for future scalability.
• Maintain clear communication channels between technical experts and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2–6 years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, platform engineering, or technical implementation.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Java, or similar languages.
• Demonstrated track record building production systems using APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and modern web technologies.
• Strong grasp of system design, backend services, integrations, authentication protocols, and deployment workflows.
• Proven ability to work directly with customers in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Eagerness to own projects from requirement gathering through successful deployment and support.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Skill in balancing speed, quality, scope, and reliability trade-offs.

Good to Have

• Familiarity with AI/ML, LLMs, RAG architectures, agents, embeddings, prompt engineering, or evaluation pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD practices, monitoring stacks, and observability tools.
