Forward Deployed AI Engineer

• Building RAG systems, AI agents, and prompt engineering pipelines for real-world use cases.
• Architecting data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) to handle messy, enterprise-grade data.
• Deploying and maintaining AI models (NLP, neural networks, classification/regression) with measurable business outcomes.
• Translating ambiguous business problems into technical solutions and collaborating with non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentoring junior engineers and elevating the technical bar of the team.
• Presenting technical trade-offs to CEOs, PE partners, and executives.

• 3+ years of end-to-end software engineering experience (design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance).
• Expertise in Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI) and/or JavaScript (React, Node).
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and cloud infrastructure skills.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI (RAG, prompt engineering, model fine-tuning).
• Production experience with data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, and real-world data challenges.
• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Legally authorized to work in the US (though the role is based in India).

• Proven track record of shipping AI systems with measurable business impact (not just research or Kaggle wins).
• Breadth and speed: ability to adapt to new domains, tech stacks, and problem types quickly.
• Full-stack AI fluency: expertise in data pipelines, APIs, frontends, and monitoring.
• Client-facing instinct: translating technical solutions for executives, PE partners, and business stakeholders.
• Builder DNA: open-source contributions, side projects, or startup experience.
