FMS System Test Engineer

About the Role

We are hiring an FMS Aerospace System Testing Engineer! Join our expanding engineering team at Qubist Solutions in Bangalore. Are you passionate about aviation safety and mission-critical systems?

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive system-level test plans for complex avionics architectures.
• Ensure bi-directional requirements traceability from aircraft-level safety objectives down to implementation artifacts.
• Configure and manage Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), System Integration Labs (SIL), and automated test environments.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve defects and root causes during integration phases.
• Generate objective evidence and traceability matrices for SOI audits and FAA/EASA certification compliance.

Certification Standards You Will Drive:

You will apply core aerospace guidelines including ARP4754A, ARP4761 (FHA/PSSA/SSA), DO-178C, DO-254, DO-330, and DO-356 to our testing lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Aerospace, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on avionics testing experience in certified programs (Note: Job summary mentions 3-5 years).
• Proficiency with Requirements Management tools like DOORS, Jama, Polarion.
• Experience in test automation scripting using Python/C++ and knowledge of aviation data buses (ARINC 429, AFDX, MIL-STD-1553B).
