FLUTTER / REACT NATIVE DEVELOPER

Akra Tech is hiring a Mobile Developer in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This is a hybrid role.

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Developer with expertise in React Native and/or Flutter, along with hands-on experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Claude (AI coding workflows). The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of building scalable, high-performance mobile applications and using modern AI-driven development approaches to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native and/or Flutter for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Leverage AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude) to accelerate development, optimize code quality, and improve productivity.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend teams to deliver intuitive and high-quality mobile experiences.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party services efficiently.
• Implement scalable state management solutions (Redux, Context API, Bloc, Provider, Riverpod, etc.).
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and memory usage across devices.
• Debug, test, and maintain applications using modern testing frameworks and AI-assisted debugging approaches.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce clean coding practices, and continuously improve development workflows.
• Manage the full mobile development lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment to App Store and Google Play.
• Stay updated with evolving mobile and AI-assisted development best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development (React Native and/or Flutter).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (for React Native) and/or Dart (for Flutter).
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, or similar) in real-world projects.
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture, performance optimization, and cross-platform development challenges.
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Bloc, Provider, Riverpod, Context API, etc.).
• Familiarity with API integration, asynchronous programming, and third-party SDKs.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows (GitHub, GitLab, etc.).
• Knowledge of mobile deployment processes, provisioning, and app store guidelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
