Flutter Engineer

About the Role
Scapia is seeking Flutter Engineers with 2-6 years of experience for our frontend team, organized into pods based on individual strengths. You will work across diverse surfaces including card onboarding and servicing, UPI and bill payments, travel search and checkout, rewards, and a shared design system.
What You'll Do
- Feature Ownership: Own customer-facing features end-to-end from definition to rollout. Set technical direction for architecture longevity. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver measured experiences.
- Cards and Payments: Build scalable card experiences across the lifecycle (onboarding, EMI, rewards). Deliver fast, reliable, compliant payment flows including UPI and bill payments.
- Travel Commerce: Create high-converting journeys for flights, stays, trains, visas, etc. Design discovery surfaces to help customers choose with confidence. Own post-booking experiences like cancellations and refunds.
- App Health and Performance: Continuously improve app stability (ANRs, crashes). Strengthen observability via crash reporting and analytics. Advance release engineering including staged rollouts and OTA patching.
- Platform and Craft: Contribute to the shared design system widget library. Champion clean architecture and testing excellence. Lead spec reviews, code reviews, and team tooling development.
How We Build
Every change starts with a written spec reviewed before implementation. AI agents assist in generating code from specs and converting Figma components to design system code. The review bar remains high: you own the design, review diffs, and take responsibility for production outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- 2-6 years of Flutter experience with at least one app shipped to a store in production.
- Strong Dart fundamentals and deep expertise in state management (Bloc or Cubit).
- Ability to debug complex issues via crash reports and traces.
- Clear written communication skills for specs, PRs, and incident notes.
- Comfort with ownership of builds, pagers, and production debugging.
