Flutter Developer

About the Role

Focus Management Consultants is seeking an experienced Flutter Developer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience to join our team in Mumbai. You will play a crucial role in developing secure, compliant, and scalable mobile applications designed for Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs) and Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). This position offers the opportunity to build both advisor-facing and investor-facing applications that will streamline processes like onboarding, KYC, portfolio reporting, transaction execution, and client management, all while adhering to SEBI regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Flutter-based mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Design and implement features for MFD/RIA platforms, including client onboarding, eKYC/CKYC processes, dynamic portfolio dashboards, and detailed reporting.
• Integrate and manage transaction flows for SIP, Lumpsum, Switch, STP, SWP, and Redemptions.
• Seamlessly integrate APIs with essential services like MF Central, RTAs (CAMS, KFintech), various AMCs, and payment gateways.
• Develop sophisticated advisor tools to aid in client management, commission tracking, AUM monitoring, and comprehensive report generation.
• Ensure strict adherence to SEBI regulations (RIA/MFD), AMFI guidelines, and data privacy standards.
• Implement robust security measures, including secure authentication, role-based access control, and data encryption.
• Collaborate effectively with backend development, compliance, and product management teams.
• Optimize application performance, stability, and scalability for enhanced user experience.
• Assist in the release process for the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, including version control management.

Required Skills

• 2-3 years of proven hands-on experience in Flutter development.
• Strong command of the Dart programming language.
• Demonstrated experience in integrating REST APIs and handling JSON data.
• Proficiency in state management solutions such as Provider, Bloc, or Riverpod.
• Experience with Firebase services, including Authentication, Push Notifications, and Analytics.
• Solid understanding of mobile security principles, encryption techniques, and secure data storage.
• Familiarity with Git, foundational CI/CD practices, and Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working with MFD, RIA, Mutual Funds, or WealthTech platforms.
• Knowledge of core Mutual Fund concepts such as NAV, Folio, AUM, SIP dates, and Scheme categories.
• Familiarity with FATCA, KYC, CKYC, and Video KYC workflows.
• Experience with various payment systems including UPI, NetBanking, and Mandates.
• Exposure to architectural patterns like Clean Architecture or MVVM.
• Basic knowledge of native Android development (Kotlin) or iOS development (Swift).
