SAP Analytics Consultant

Sundew Solutions Private Limited, a leading digital transformation company based in Kolkata, is seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Consultant to join our expanding data professionals team. This role is ideal for individuals with a proven track record in SAP Datasphere implementations and a passion for data-driven solutions.

The successful candidate will possess at least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud). Preference will be given to those with Databricks knowledge or experience, further strengthening our capabilities in advanced analytics and AI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust SAP Datasphere solutions.
• Create and maintain essential SAP Datasphere components including semantic models, views, data flows, and task chains.
• Configure connections for both SAP and non-SAP data sources.
• Implement effective data replication, federation, and real-time data integration strategies.
• Develop comprehensive data models and analytics solutions within SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain thorough documentation for all implemented solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest features and best practices in SAP Datasphere and SAP Business Data Cloud.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one full lifecycle implementation of SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud).
• 3-5 years of professional experience in SAP Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Warehousing.
• Strong understanding of SAP HANA modelling techniques and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Experience with data integration tools such as Smart Data Integration (SDI), SAP Data Intelligence (DI), or SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT).
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining core Datasphere components: Tables, Views, Intelligent Lookup, Data Flow, Task Chain, etc.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and data modelling principles.
• Experience with additional SAP tools including BW/4HANA, S/4HANA Analytics, and CDS Views.
• Proven experience in accessing and modelling data from S/4HANA systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Relevant SAP certifications are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks for data analytics, machine learning, and AI applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or PySpark.
• Exposure to data lake and lake house architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with non-SAP visualization tools such as Power BI.
