Fiscal Technician 2

NEOGOV, a division of the State of Washington's Health Care Authority, is seeking a detail-oriented Fiscal Technician 2 (FT2/FS) for their Olympia, WA location. This hybrid role focuses on essential financial tasks supporting employee benefits. Responsibilities include accurately posting payments, diligently monitoring cash receipts, and delivering exceptional customer service to both members and staff within Thurston County. Key duties involve preparing, balancing, and recording daily bank and mail receipts, managing the A-8 through the Accounting Access database, and ensuring correct funding source attribution. You will also be responsible for tracking PEBB/SEBB cash receipt notifications, monitoring negotiable items in the safe, researching checks, and maintaining clear communication with supervisors regarding account statuses and potential improvements.
