LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dynamic Financial Planning Analyst for a rapidly expanding services organization in Houston, TX. This full-time, onsite position is perfect for a hands-on, data-driven professional eager to take ownership of crucial financial models, reporting tools, and strategic analyses utilized by senior leadership. You will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, supporting M&A activities, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain forecasting models, management reporting, and KPI dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.
- Consolidate financial and operational data from disparate systems into clear, actionable insights.
- Conduct in-depth analysis across business lines, focusing on pricing, utilization, margins, and cost drivers.
- Contribute to M&A initiatives through financial modeling, market research, and due diligence support.
- Prepare executive-level board materials and assist in designing scalable reporting processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation and contribute to the development of enhanced analytics tools.
Qualifications:
- 2–4+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or consulting.
- Expertise in Excel, including building models from scratch and managing complex datasets.
- Solid understanding of three-statement modeling and operational analytics.
- Experience with ERP/CRM/operational data; proficiency in Power BI or other visualization tools is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently engage senior leadership.
- A self-starter with a "builder" mentality, enthusiastic about improving processes in a fast-paced environment.
